Camp Horace Johnson
Camp Horace Johnson is located on 7 acres of forest and fun on Island Lake, located 25 mile north of Duluth. This camp provides scout units the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities endorsed by the BSA. The camp is used exclusively to accomodate many quality scouting activities throughout the Year.

- Accomodations for up to 30 people in the lodge.
- Kitchen includes 2 electric ranges, 1 top freezer with refridgerator and additional chest freezer in hall.
- Plenty of counter space.
- Large Dining Hall with long tables and benches.
- Wood Burning Fire Place
- Views of the Lake from the lodge.
- Gas Furnace.
- Main bunkroom sleeps 20.
- 2 Seperate Leader Bunk Rooms, 1 sleeps 2, other sleeps 8.
Campgrounds offer- 8 Patrol Sites
- Large Amphitheatre with Firepit
- Latrine with Male & Female Sides.
- Firepit area with picnic tables near lodge.
- Well water hand pump located near gate.
- Swimming Beach

- Bay for Canoe & Kayak launching.

- Rental fees are required to pick up keys.
- Leave your area cleaner than you found it.
- All fees subject to periodic change.
- Equipment lost or damaged will be the responsibility of the campers.
- Campers must abide by Voyageurs Area Council rules and guidelines and provide their own accident insurance.
